. . . AND SHE COUNTS TO TEN

Yup, you heard it right. EDYN COUNTS TO TEN! Now of course this would never have happened in front of me. I find that anytime I say "Say this . . . " I just get a blank stare or a whiney "NO!". But today, I was in the kitchen and heard Edyn saying what I thought was numbers. So I decided to be sneaky sneaky and peak around the corner. She was coloring in a preschool book we had bought for her and she had found a page that had the numbers 1-10 written on it. She started at two and went all the way to ten! Oh, was I a proud Momma! Yes, I know, she is 3 and a half and you would think she would have learned it long ago. But anyone who knows my daughter she is a child of very little words and this is a huge accomplishment. Yayyy Edyn! Now, as you see pictured above, we have bigger problems to fry! That thumb sucking has gotta go!

Yayy for Eden!!! In my mind I still think her greatest accomplishment was saying my name...but what can I say I am biased :)

So proud of her!!! I think too that she is keeping those smarts inside and only letting them sneak out on occasion and you happened to witness it this time. I remember the first time ash counted to 10...it came out of nowhere and i was SO proud too!
