A DAY AT THE SCIENCE CENTER

Ethan had a half day at school yesterday so I promised him that I would pick him up and we would go straight to the Liberty Science Center. His school last year gave him a FREE family pass for a year. How awesome is that! One of the floors talks about germs and bacteria and in one little corner it is set up like an operating room. Way too cute if you ask me! A lady approched us and asked Ethan if he would like to become a surgeon. Of course Ethan said yes. So she took him through the steps of how doctors get ready to do surgery by scrubbing their hands all the way up to their elbows and then she clothed him in the hat, mask, gloves and dress (don't laugh! I have no idea what they call them.) Then she brought out his patient. a BANANA!

He had push pins for eyes and had the rest of his face drawn on him. They even had the operating hat on the banana. The little black spot you see on his body was what Ethan had to remove. So they gave the banana an IV and then went to work. He had so much fun. Sorry the pictures aren't very good. I forgot my camera so I took pictures with my phone.

It's amazing..two surgeons in one family. One for the teeth, and one for the body! Way to go Naomi!
