Now, I'm in no means saying that I'm stylish. Actually, I probably could do with a lot of help in that department. The title just happens to be perfect in describing a lesson I learned last Friday. So for quite some time Chad has hated ALL my shoes. He often reminds me that when it comes time to pack up our belongings for our move at the end of May that "I hope you know that those shoes aren't coming with us!" Repeated numerous times for pretty much every shoe I own. So I started doubting myself and wondering why we had such a difference of opinion in my shoe department. Did I really have ugly shoes? Why is my husband the only one to have been brave enough to tell me? Should I dare even leave the house now?! Well, Friday came along and we headed to TJ Max to find some running pants for a better price than the sports stores sell them for and we found ourselves in women's shoes. I started trying on shoes that I liked and then Chad started picking up a couple and asking what I thought of them. WELL, you have never seen my jaw drop so far to the ground as it had just then. It wasn't me at all!!! It was Chad! They were THE UGLIEST shoes I had ever seen! Not only one or two pairs he had picked up but three! It wasn't my style that needed serious help, it WAS his! OH HAPPY DAY!!! He still claims that my footwear is ugly but you know what? It doesn't even bother me anymore. I do have to say though that when it comes to clothing he is pretty spot on of what looks good and what doesn't so he isn't totally inept when it comes to fashion. Just when it comes to SHOES! Can't you tell, I'm loving this new found revelation!

haha, that's hilarious! i never thought your shoes were ugly. if they didn't match or were totally dreadful, I would have noticed. lol carlos is pretty good w/ clothes too, but he only has one color scheme in mind at a time. he doesn't really do the whole mix-n-match w/ colors. which is really frustrating because i love colors; but can't seem to go shopping w/out him. i'm not too shop-savy.
glad you found your new revelation!
This is so funny!! I don't pay attention to shoes very often, but I'm sure yours would have stuck out if they were ugly and I've never thought so. :) I would think it pretty funny if Peter tried to say anything about fashion.
You have awesome shoes, not as fab as Dawnelle's but whose are? It's definitely Chad.
But, why rock the boat? Use it as an excuse to get all new! Well - keep your favorites.
I have to agree, this is a really funny revelation. I'm glad I don't always listen to my husbands taste in fashion as well.
Too Funny! Sis you always dress cute! I can't believe you got Chad to shoe shop with you - Bryn would rather clean the toilets then go shopping. LOL!
